Another weekend in Paris and this time I am heading south to Le marché aux Puces de Vanves. Situated in the 14th arrondissement, the market runs along Avenues Marc Sangnier and Georges Lafenestre. This is the third biggest flea market in Paris, it is much quieter than the others and much, much more manageable. The market is all open-air and it feels more like an authentic flea market, with the dealers displaying their wares on trestle tables, crates or just spread on the ground. There is a fascinating array of antiques & collectables available, with smaller, more luggage friendly options than the other markets. I still think I need a shipping container though....

This time you find us leaving Marche Dauphine and yet more chairs I struggled to part with and moving down Rue des Rosiers to Rue Paul Bert. Here you will find the lovely La Petite Maison & incredible Colonial Concept which is full of fascinating pieces such as stuffed zebras and amazing african masks. This is as far as I made it and nowhere near the 6 hectares available but I will be back, with a shipping container!
